Cryptic Metaphor

Dawn is sitting on a bench in front of an industrial park building.
Dawn (on phone):...yeah, and a caesar salad. Actually, make it two. 713 New Industry Lane. I'll be sitting out front. Ok. Thanks.
Dawn hangs up.
Dawn:...this whole situation is just some cryptic metaphor for how I'm supposed to live my life, isn't it?
